STAY NOT DEHYDERATED IN SUMMER
Heat related dehyderation is a big problem in summer. Stidies have establised that a loss of two or more persent of body weight due to sweating is linked to a drop in blood volume. So when blood volume drops, that much more pumping is to be done and this might or could cause muscle cramps, dizziness and fatigue. So be well hyderated to be brisk and always ready for your summer workout or your daily chores.
CAUSES OF DEHYDERATION
1). Exercising at alitude
2). Exercising in dry, hot weather.
3) Excessive Sweating
4).Drinking only when thirsty
5). Inadequate fluid intake.
EARLY SIGNS OF DEHYDERATION
1). Headache, bodyache and nausea
2). Muscle cramps, Dizziness
3). Fatigue and lethargy.
EVERY DAY TIPS TO STAY HYDERATED
1). Check your urine and drink more water so that your urine is clear.
2). Avoid caffeinated drinks since it acts as diuritic.
3). After exercising, compensate the loss on body weight with water.
4). A balanced salt solution will work better as it replaces the minerals lost and it is most ideal for any activity that lasts longer than a hour
